Meet Ugbad

Ugbad is a Licensed Clinician Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington. She has a passion for helping others live their best life by supporting them and providing a safe space to heal. She has a Bachelors in Communication(University of Washington) and a Masters in Social Work (University of Washington).  

Ugbad is a strengths-based clinician who works from a collaborative perspective that focuses on assisting people in recognizing and developing the skills and tools they already have. She believes people are the experts in their lives.   

Ugbad has worked  with diverse community groups, such as the Black mental health matters initiative. She has facilitated groups for emerging mental health professionals, and graduate students. Ugbad has experience working with people who have been dealing with impostor syndrome, microaggression, and handling dissatisfaction through personal and professional life goals. In addition, Ugbad has experience working in various settings such as crisis social work, pediatric  social worker, geriatric social worker, program management, etc. Her passion is to create a safe space for everyone, especially Black, Indigenous, and people of color(BIPOC) and refugee & immigrant communities, through the lens of equity and social justice.
